Students learn to mix, pour, and smooth cement using hand tools. Students explore a variety of
job tasks of a cement mason by mixing concrete and pouring it into a stepping-stone form. The form
is placed on a layer of sand in a mold pan to allow decorative stones to be cast into the cement.
This work experience exposes the student to the processes of mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete.
