This workstation
teaches basic construction and framing techniques. The student constructs a
corner section model, including window and door framing, joist layout,
sub-flooring, and truss construction. Students will work from a set of
blueprints and gain experience in reading and following plans and instructions.

CURRICULUM:
Curriculum is provided in a three-ring binder, with pages contained in page
protectors. Easy to follow step by step activities are highlighted using full
color photographs. Once introduced to career related information (job
description, education and training requirements, job prospects, and income
ranges) the student begins a "hands on" work experience. An audio tape follow
the manual word for word. Pre-and post tests, worksheets, answer sheets, and
instructors guide.

Desk style workstation with built-in locking tool drawer with removable
activity panel, built-in lock/key, power strip, and audio cassette player with
headphones.
