TECHNOLOGY WORKSTATIONS
Questech has
developed the Construction Technology workstations to enhance the Construction
Zone product line. They allow students to explore the technology behind the
trades. The skills learned in these workstations will be useful
in many of the trades introduced in the Construction Zone.

Each workstation includes a ten hour, hands-on experience, and comes with
curriculum, tools, equipment, and supplies.
Workstations are presented in the covered locking desk with see-through lift
top.
Construction Measurement is presented in the desk-style workstation with
built-in locking tool drawer.
Construction Technology workstations accommodate up to five individual class
periods, with the workstation returned to a ready state after each class.
Stand-Up
Workstation with see-through locking tool cabinet
All stand-up
workstations are built from construction grade, kiln dried 2 x 4s and plywood.
They are designed to represent a home or other structure in a rough
construction phase. A large drawer in the base provides room for supply
storage. A see-through locking tool cabinet, built into one wall of the
workstation, has a clear polycarbonate door, which is removable for easy access
to tools.
STANDARD STAND-UP
WORKSTATION:
Enlarged platform is an available option for the standard 3 class period
stand-up workstation.
Stand-up workstations can accommodate a maximum of 5 class periods.
Some assembly required.
Our standard stand-up workstation is 67"H x 49"L x 36"W. The platform of the
workstation is 4' x 3' and is built to accommodate three individual class
periods.
Stand-up workstations are designed to represent a home or other structure in a
rough construction phase.
STAND-UP WORKSTATION WITH
OPTIONAL ENLARGED PLATFORM:
Our optional stand-up workstation is 67"H x 73"L x 36" W. The platform of the
workstation is 6' x 3' providing a larger work area and can be customized to
accommodate up to five individual class periods.

COVERED LOCKING
DESK WITH SEE-THROUGH LIFT TOP:
The covered
locking desk 52"H x 60"L x 30"W, is made of Formica covered, industrial grade
particle board. All edges are covered with "T"-molding and/or banding. The desk
is mounted on powder coated cantilever steel legs with adjustable leveling
feet. The see-through lift-top is made of high-impact plastic in a smoked shade
to assure security. Desk includes 24" fluorescent light and surge-protecting
power strip with six outlets, six foot cord, 15 amp circuit breaker, and cam
lock.
Desk workstations accomodate up to five individual class periods, with the
workstation returned to a ready state after each class. They have a see-through
lift top that allows a visual inventory of tools.
The covered locking desk with see-through lift top used in our Construction
Zone product line has become popular wherever valuable technology equipment or
computer systems need to be secured and is available to be purchased
separately.

DESK STYLE WITH LOCKING TOOL DRAWER:
The desk 44"H x 48"L x 30"W (56" H w/panel), is made of Formica
covered, industrial grade particle board. All edges are covered with
"T"-molding and/or banding. The desk is mounted on powder coated cantilever
steel legs with adjustable leveling feet. The locking tool drawer is made of
thermal formed ABS plastic.
